Perhaps you could do this with these wire frames; make them into glittery suncatchers? [link] :)

Also, check out what this girl does as well, with her wings; I believe she uses a similar technique: [link] :)

Awesome! :D You might be able to get that Fantasy Film in different colors, or maybe there's a way to tint the clear version, but either way, it would be worth a shot! :D

Might want to paint over the glue/tape/what it was that you put on there to make the image flow better. Otherwise, looks good. ^^ ...I'm not a fan of MLP; but I do like how well you made the copper bend to make the pony's shape almost perfectly. Great job!

These silver-coloured bits on the photo are not glue, there are parts where the copper was melted and the pieces were joined together xD

Looks good. I might make a suggestion about the joints? Or just the overall look of the piece after the joints are formed? There are enamels that you can put over the joint spots to mimic the appearance of the same copper wire. Or, you could enamel the entire piece, and make it look more uniform again. :) Just a suggestion, and totally not necessary.

Keep up the good work. :3

Any suggestions on what enamel? Do you have a specific brand that works well?

I'm not on a computer with my own bookmarks, but DuPont is a nice brand for enamels. Car finishing enamels actually work pretty good, but can be more expensive than trying to find a good brand of craft enamels. DuPont brand is usually heat resistant, and won't melt off or whatever, though. :)

Looks like it's solder being used to hold it together, would not be surprised - it's mainly used for this purpose.

You should try and make this on a large scale. Like 10-20 meters of pony-themed garden fence. :3
